Second Hand
Poets
From
2002 - 2007, Jesse was a member of Second Hand Poets
who were a staple on the Chicago music scene. The Poets
created a unique and twisted musical cocktail. One part
off kilter, demented & quirky lyrics, one part country
swing, a dose of punk blended thoroughly with the occasional
washboard percussion, rockabilly guitar riff & vocal
twang. Toss in a sprinkle of blues and serve over a
highly energetic, pulsing live show. The band released
two full-length efforts, 2000's Afternoon
in Aberdeen and 2004's Virginia
City Lounge, as well as being included
on a number of compilation albums. Their third and final
release, entitled How To Not Be Successful
in Rock & Roll is
due out in early 2007.
