The Madcap 4
Formed
in 2005 by Matt Cashdollar on the campus of Indiana
University, the Madcap 4 began life as a tribute to
John Zorn's acoustic Masada. After a concert series
of Zorn's music, the band decided to write and perform
the originals of its members, eventually landing a spot
at the 2005 North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. |
